The entrance into the building is at its upper level, from which it descends down the hillside to the level of the main stack area.
The simplistic design showcases the beauty of its environment while becoming a living “teaching tool” to learn about the environment and the finalized construction choices.
Originally built in 1812, the 18,117 gsf renovated center created a central location for the Milton Hershey School’s historical artifacts.
The intrinsic challenge was integrating a contemporary Health Center into the original 1924 historic Hospital.
