November 5, 2020 – Murray Associates Architects, P. C. received four awards from the American Institute of Architects’ Central Pennsylvania Chapter. “This is a true example of the firm’s attention to Architectural Excellence in Sustainable Education, Commercial and Government design,” says Murray’s President Benedict Dubbs, Jr., AIA RA, LEED AP. “Our recognition includes new construction, historical preservation and renovation projects. I am very proud of our detail-oriented dedicated staff who make our success possible.”
The Williamsport Regional Airport Terminal received two awards.
- The Members’ Choice Award, which was voted upon by all the Central PA AIA Members, as the best project this year.
- Merit Award for telling the story of Excellence beyond design; emphasizing public interest design and embracing the varied forces that shape a building.
The Lancaster Country Day School Physical Education and Athletics Center Expansion
- Honor Award exemplifying the highest design quality at the Jury’s discretion.
Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency LEED Platinum and Passive House Expansion and Historical retro-fit.
- Citation Award for design excellence.
