Increased enrollment prompted the renovation of the turn-of-the-century134,000 gsf structure that was originally the Williamsport High School.
The 200,100 gsf Center was completely renovated as part of the College’s $46 million multi facility Stage X campaign that positioned the college well into the 21st century.
The MTC was expanded to respond to changes in the welding field and instruction of Stick, MIG and TIG welding for the Marcellus Shale Workforce Development and Certification Programs. The robotic welding program has also grown.
This impressive facility is now 66,900 gsf and is the largest Honda PACT lab in the Nation.
