A 170,000 sf contextual additional building was in response to the expanded curriculum and growth of the campus.

The 2.5 story East Building includes: a 3,500 sf lecture hall; classrooms; computer, chemistry and biology labs; art and music classrooms, an Allied Health Services suite; administration suites; faculty offices and support spaces.

The expanded library now incorporates new group and individual study rooms, open study carrels, classrooms, expanding stacks for collections, administrative offices and is supported by by HACC’s current local and global technology network.

There is a 2,800 sf interior courtyard with a skylight roofing system; and a 4,000 sf student cafeteria in the Main Building. Finally, a new 16,000 sf maintenance facility was designed to support the expanded campus.
