An 11,000 gsf addition was developed for a new ambulance and walk-in entrance. This multi phased project maintained existing operations throughout all construction phases.

The design included a new Walk -In Entrance with Waiting Room Registration and Triage. The Fast Track area included a central staff station serving 5 private exam rooms. The Cardiac/Trauma rooms are adjacent to the ambulance drop off area, consisting of 3 open treatment bays to provide flex space for multiple trauma patients simultaneously. The Emergent Care area has a centrally located staff station serving 7 treatment rooms allowing for flex space during peak hours. The observation area and holding bays were developed for patients awaiting diagnostic imaging pending either admissions to the hospital or discharge.
