Department of General Services Project, Dauphin County, Harrisburg, PA
The original project was just for the Roof Replacement. After involvement in the project, we discovered there were additional monies earmarked for the Department of Agriculture for interior renovations due to their roof failure. We were able to secure those funds and the project grew for the replacement of all the windows, due to the new HVAC system, renovation of the facade and the entire building wing‘s interiors due to the severe water damage that the failing roof caused.
The 27,000 sf original 1960’s era folded plate concrete roof structure roof was replaced by designing a new roof that also complimented the connecting design of the four story office building. Other aspects included facade, lobby, office renovations and finish upgrades. New window replacements in the four-story office portion were also required due to new HVAC / Electrical up grades.
