York Campus, PA

The former campus library was re-purposed into a new 16,624 gsf science building. The main entrance was redesigned to reflect a more high-tech aesthetic appearance and rhythm to complement the programs within the building. Natural light was introduced into the interior by new high-performance windows that penetrated the former windowless facade.

The existing infrastructure and security systems underwent a comprehensive upgrade to accommodate the buildings new functions and services.

Due to the existing site topography, an aesthetic solution to screen the entire roof top HVAC equipment was incorporated. This design element is illuminated at night to further highlight the aesthetic qualities of the renovated structure.
