There were three main project components that new serves the entire 26.5 sq miles of Monroe Township. A new 9,000 sf. steel frame structure houses 4 standard service bays and one “wet” bay. Each bay has water, compressed air, data outlets, and specialized lighting. The building includes a staff lunchroom, toilet rooms with lockers and showers, dedicated tool storage room and emergency generator. A 1,200 sf mezzanine has a crane rail and hoists, sign making equipment and overflow storage.
A 3,900 sf addition created an inviting entrance with a vestibule, waiting area and public spaces for various municipal and other public meetings. The new meeting space features a large functional room with raised platform, multimedia/ sound technology, along with new toilet rooms and a kitchenette.
The administration building renovation created new office suites for the township, authority, and public safety functions.
