The Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center was re-purposed to house all HACC’s Central Administration offices.
The College’s Central Administration resided at two off-site leased facilities. This Adaptive reuse consolidation project significantly reduced expenses and improved efficiencies and collaboration to better serve students, staff and the entire college community.
The 30,000 gsf building now consists of the President’s Suite, Senior Administration offices, staff work areas and storage, conference rooms, kitchenettes, and a state-of-the-art Board Room that connects with all the HACC Campuses for state wide meetings.
The interior and infrastructure were completely razed except the vertical circulation and the elevators were also upgraded. To provide increased natural light, 35% of the exterior masonry walls were removed and replaced with new high performance glass systems and sunshades.
This project is pending LEED Silver Certification.
