This 123,676 gsf learning and social suite style residence houses 277 students and a 460 seat Dining Facility, competing the West Campus Housing Quad. A centralized Resident Assistant provides oversight for two to three suites, creating a small community. Ten large, glass-enclosed leisure commons with a kitchenette, seating 40- 50 students, provides a central gathering space for social activities and collaborative in-residence learning.

A spacious 460 seat dining room provides typical daily meals, and special events throughout the academic year. Two private dining rooms are available for faculty and small group usage. The food service area, with its eight-point servery and grab ‘n go offerings, is supported by a complete full service kitchen.

Other student amenities include: a new 40 station satellite fitness center: two large leisure commons; a student grocery store; laundry facilities; student mail boxes; Resident Life Offices; Campus Police; and Hall Coordinator’s apartment.

“Murray’s design of Dauphin Hall has clearly met and exceeded our expectations. It is a learning community and there is less vandalism due to the design layout. Students love the new dinned facility. They actually think it’s a better quality of food, which of course it’s not.”
