UniqueSource, Mechanicsburg, PA

UniqueSource’s culture, accessibility and ease of circulation for their clients was at the forefront of this corporate headquarters’ renovation design.  The non-profit organization purchased at twelve year old 19,686 gsf building, which was completely transformed as it had minimal offices and limited natural light. A significant amount of time was spent programing the building to meet the needs of this marketing company that provide quality products manufactured by and services reliably performed by professionals with disabilities.

Large branding murals are prominent throughout the office, showing partners the life changing opportunities that UniqueSource provides for the disabled. The new finishes transformed the dark and dim building that enhanced its vitality.  Carpeting transitions are intentional with color blocking an intensity of design.

The main entrance was relocated on-axis and side light were installed in all the new perimeter offices, allowing natural light to spill into the buildings core.  Multiple breakout or collaborative areas, and conference rooms were incorporated throughout the two-story building.  A large multipurpose room for dining, training and large events is supported by an oversized kitchen, separated by a large sliding glass barn door. A Visual Sports Simulator Room was incorporated for the entire staff to utilize.
