December 2, 2021 – The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency’s (PHFA) corporate office addition has been recognized by Central PA’s U.S. Green Building Council (USBGC). The project was awarded the 2021 Forever Green Award for its exceptional implementation of sustainable technology. This corporate addition incorporates a historical residence and a new 8-story tower while both structures meet LEED Platinum and Passive House standards, a one-of-a-kind in the US to date. Murray’s President and lead designer for the project, Benedict Dubbs, said “this project has won numerous awards, but this award is special as its from the USGBC acknowledging all the sustainable technology that made this project a beacon for future corporate facilities”.
Mike Kosick, Wade Romberger and Steve Moses from PHFA accepted the award in addition to Benedict Dubbs. Also photographed are Rachel Stahlman, Chris Nafe and Emily Starr from the USGBC Central Pennsylvania Market Leadership Advisory Board.
