Harrisburg, PA, March 30, 2018 – Three Murray Associates Architects projects won “Best of 2017” in the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal. Every year, the Mid Atlantic Real Estate (MARE) Journal has a juried competition from their readership for the “Best of” the year’s projects, firms and individuals. This year Murray Associates Architects was celebrated 3 times for their recent projects which are listed below:

- The Best Interior Architecture – The Bruce E. Cooper Student Center for HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College’s Harrisburg Campus, for the renovation that addressed the college’s 21st Century needs of their Commuter Students. The renovated Student Center is now a New One-Stop Welcome Center, consolidating educational services as a strategic asset enhancing educational opportunities. Photo by Bob Polett
- The Best New Project Breaking Ground – The expansion of Pennsylvania House Finance Agency, Harrisburg, PA. This project is currently under construction and is the only project of its kind in the U.S. It is designed to LEED Platinum & Passive House standards while renovating a historic building and incorporating a new nine-story glass tower.
- The Best Non-Profit Project – The new Philanthropy Center for the First Community Foundation of Pennsylvania, Williamsport, PA. The Adaptive Re-use of an historic social club into a contemporary corporate and non-profit collaborative non-profit center.
