Harrisburg, PA

This is Murrays 1,461st project, and the office building has a six-story base with a nine-story tower. The architecture is in the tradition of American skyscraper designs by Louis Sullivan, with punched windows and prominent vertical columns. The exterior material is precast concrete. The concrete is finished with a range of light sandblasting to enhance the design. The 762 car parking garage is faced with brick, with precast concrete trim to match the office building. The ground floor retail shops have windows like the ground floor of the office tower.

The building vestibule and lobby have shaped ceilings and special lighting. The finishes include wood, patterned floors in porcelain and stone tiles, gypsum wall board with special coatings, and broadloom carpet in the waiting area and at the reception desk. The elevator cabs have porcelain tile floors, wood panel walls and custom ceilings. The elevator doors have a custom metal finish. Typical office floors have carpet tiles, gypsum wallboard walls, and 2’ x 4’ tegular lay-in ceilings. The Board Room has wood and broadloom carpet floors, and walls finished with wood and fabric panels.
