The new 2 story addition tripled the headquarters’ size, expanding services provided to all the Commonwealth’s Counties.

Due to the large numbers of visitors and the highly confidential content of both physical and electronic data, our design incorporated specific “zones” to separate the public away from the file and server areas of the building. New technology has been integrated throughout the addition in both the extended server room housing additional servers and switches.

The existing IT Suite was completely redesigned utilizing a more flexible open plan layout where furniture can be quickly reconfigured and staff can complete intensive, heads down tasks or use the more open collaborative spaces. The new addition also houses offices, conference rooms, collaborative, semiprivate and private work areas, and a new training center that can be divided into 4 smaller spaces.
