Complete architectural design for all the interior furnishings and finishes was introduced into the 60 year “Williamsburg” style facility. New infrastructure and sprinkler systems were incorporated while maintaining the exterior in its present state.
A new resident apartment was carved out of an existing student suite; all new interior partitions; new toilet rooms; new flooring and ceiling throughout; a new lounge/recreation area and study suite was introduced. The lobby, a formal living room, and the library all received new upgrades and
furnishings all in context for a building of this time period.
The 9,500 gsf facility houses 78 male students, Gilbert’s coffee shop, a large multi-purpose room, and the top floor contains a full apartment for the use of the Benefactor.
