Two new Labs and a smart classroom were designed in the Jordan Building. Located adjacent to other classrooms and the College Archives, sound transmission, HVAC, and power requirements were unique challenges. We utilized acoustical design systems, throughout all partitions and recycled rubber flooring to absorb all ranges of the acoustical spectrum.
Upgrades and rezoning of the HVAC system accommodated the needs of increased fresh air cooling and exhaust requirements within the labs and we utilized numerous green systems. Colors, textures, and natural light combine to create an inviting environment.
