The transformed dining facility now serves between 300 and 500 more customers each day. The alteration of an existing 12-year-old dining and kitchen facility was transformed into a franchised café that is located within the college portion of the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Murray Associates Architects was engaged by Morrison Management Specialists from Atlanta, Georgia to design the new food venue.
The small back of house and point of service including signage boards reflects the seasonal changing menus. The front of house includes 23 seats at 2-4 person tables and bankettes at a total of 450 square feet. The previous café was dark and cluttered. Now, the seating is more upscale and there is Internet access.
